UCI alpha Kappa Delta Phi is a sorority that fosters strong sisterhood bonds and connections. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, creating a diverse and supportive environment. Through our sisterhood, we provide a home away from home for our members. We are committed to helping each other grow and learn as we provide a safe and encouraging environment. Our sisterhood is built on life-long bonds and connections that will last far beyond college. We strive to build strong and lasting relationships that will make a positive impact in the world.
service
Our Sorority is dedicated to creating a more involved and active community, while also taking action to better the world around us. Our philanthropy is breast cancer awareness and we are passionate about giving back to our community. We strive to inspire our members to become involved citizens, by learning how to take action and make a difference in the world. Through our various initiatives, we aim to raise money for breast cancer research and support those affected by the disease. As a part of our mission to better the world, we also work to educate our members about the importance of philanthropy.
leadership
Our Sorority strives to create leaders who have lasting impacts in their communities. We focus on professional development and teaching each other how to lead through mentorship and opportunities to practice our skills. We provide resources and guidance to help members develop their leadership abilities and apply them in meaningful ways. We believe that the best way to become a leader is to learn from and support each other. Our Sorority encourages members to take initiative and be proactive in developing their leadership skills. Together, we can create a strong and lasting legacy of leadership.
scholarship
The academic excellence of our sorority is something we take great pride in. We strive to support each other to do well in school, hosting study hours and other events where sisters can come together to collaborate and encourage each other to work hard. We understand that academics are an important part of our members’ lives and we strive to provide the resources and tools to help them achieve their academic goals. Our sisterhood is focused on celebrating the successes of all our members, both inside and outside of the university.
asian-awareness
Our Sorority is committed to creating an environment of Asian-American awareness and understanding. We strive to celebrate our differences and support our sisters of different backgrounds. We recognize the unique experiences faced by Asian-Americans and strive to provide a sense of community and inclusion. We strive to educate ourselves and others on the importance of Asian-American awareness and understanding. Our Sorority is dedicated to creating a space where our sisters of Asian heritage can feel safe and supported. We celebrate our diverse membership and foster an environment of acceptance and appreciation for our differences.
